At Energy Ecostrategies we search for opportunities. Our evaluation of the structure and systems of your building is the first step toward improving the comfort, efficiency, and durability of your property so that it costs as little as possible to operate. There are challenges unique to the retrofit process and generally speaking invasiveness must be limited. To confront these challenges, Energy Ecostrategies has built a large and growing database of new and innovative materials, products, equipment and technologies. These innovations have the potential to move us beyond traditional limitations and are always contemplated as part of our retrofit strategy.
Most importantly, this study ultimately gives you, as owner, the knowledge to take control of the retrofit process and make informed decisions about the proposals you will receive from contractors. The knowledge that we provide empowers our clients to effectively manage the high efficiency retrofit.

I have worked much of my career in the biotechnology industry developing and troubleshooting biological systems. It was there that I developed my analytical skills and gained experience in experimental design. During this time, my interest in sustainability never waned and my study of green building and energy issues steadily grew beyond its start as a hobby. In 2007 I made consulting on high efficiency retrofits my profession.
I've moved out of the laboratory and now use my analytical skills and biological perspective to help people live more sustainability. A naturally curious person, I enjoy solving problems utilizing both a scientific and creative perspective and find great satisfaction in helping people and organizations solve problems and develop their full potential.
I've developed a comprehensive evaluation which, in the end, shows people clearly which measures they should take to decrease energy use in their specific situation. I have found several good audit tools to help with aspects of this process but none that are as comprehensive, tailored to our region, and specific to the needs of each client as my process. Using relatively low cost instrumentation and a structured methodology, we can bring precision to the evaluation of your property.
